HTLA Mission

“The purpose of HTLA shall be the advancement of the cause of those who are damaged in person and property and who must seek redress therefore at law; to resist the continuing efforts to curtail the rights of such persons; to encourage cooperation among lawyers engaged in the furtherance of such objectives; and through such cooperation to promote justice and human welfare.”

Our Mission in Action

Central to HTLA's mission is the unwavering defense of the rights of those seeking justice. This encompasses a dual mission – first, to secure redress for those harmed, and second, to combat ongoing efforts to curtail the rights of these individuals. In this vein, HTLA stands as a stalwart defender, actively engaged in the legal arena to safeguard the interests of the vulnerable.

HTLA recognizes that the pursuit of justice is not a solitary endeavor. The association actively fosters a spirit of cooperation among lawyers who share the common goal of furthering these objectives. Through collaboration, HTLA seeks to amplify the impact of its advocacy, creating a united front against injustices and working collectively towards a fair and just legal system.

A Collective Responsibility

At its core, HTLA's mission is rooted in a collective responsibility and profound commitment to advancing justice and well-being for the people. Taking it one step further than individual cases, HTLA emphasizes the broader societal impact of legal advocacy. By championing the cause of those who have suffered harm, HTLA contributes to the greater good, fostering a legal environment that upholds the principles of justice and safeguards the welfare of all. Through this multifaceted approach, HTLA strives to create a lasting impact, making significant strides toward a legal landscape characterized by equity, fairness, and the relentless pursuit of justice.
